Hello folks,
I have a question, please: our peach tree is only 3 years old, we suspect a deer eating on the bark on one side, we fear it might die. Is there a procedure for recovering? should we cover the exposed trunk? tape? if so what kind?
y'all thoughts are appreciated.

I would wrap the trunk in chicken wire or something similar to keep the deer from eating more of it.

yes, good idea, but do you think I would need to protect the exposed trunk for other reasons? i mean, is it going to damage the growth of the whole tree?
