Hi. Just wondering if my dragon tree would benefit from a plant grow light? It sits in a dark corner currently for the fall and winter due to all of my jades taking up what little window space I have. Has anyone used grow lights for their dragon tree?

I assume the plant your are referencing is a Dracaena marginata. If so, it will grow under fluorescent lights if the lights are within a few feet of the plant and are kept on for 8-10 hours per day. If you have a large tree, you may need multiple bulbs to cover the entire plant. When grown under lights, the foliage tends to be a darker green and the leaves are softer and more arching.
