Me too. What does your doctor say about it? Mine said nothing to worry about. I know I had this when I was 35 and I'm 60 now so I guess it is not too bad?

I was given a CORUS test, and because of my low heart rate (43) and because of some of the other results on the test (plus my age etc.) I scored a 46 percent chance of Obstructive CAD(Obstructive CAD is defined as a least one althererosclerotic plaque causing a 50 per cent luminal diameter stenosis in a major coronary artery. They think it is possible I have some blocked arteries in short.

Larry, my husband was having very low heart rates too. It was discovered when he started to have chest pain with strenuous activities. He ended up having 3 stents put in his heart arteries because they were blocked. It was a one day deal, and he's now fine with no problems. He does have to take blood thinners for a year to keep the stents open. Good luck!

My rate is up around 60 so I guess not so bad. I do have hereditary high cholesterol, but I'm on Lipitor and getting the numbers down. Had echo and stress test and my cardiologist is not worried about blockages, but I guess I better keep this in mind. I did not know that the slow rate could signal blockage. Always something.
The end is nothing, the journey is all.
