This seemingly popped up overnight. Is it a mushroom? What should I do? Thanks in advance.

It looks like a mushroom. Mushrooms won't harm your plants as they grow on decomposing organic matter - they are causing the decomposing. I pull them up because I fear my pets may think they look/smell tasty.

Thanks! I pulled them up mostly because I think they look gross (haha). More kept sprouting, but they've since stopped. Perhaps because as temperatures are cooling here in Los Angeles, I haven't been watering the tomato plants nearly as often. Any idea how long my tomato plants will keep producing fruit in my region? They seem to not be slowing much.
