I recently bought a Carex oshimensis Ice cream Sedge hoping to split it and plant it. It is in a one gallon container and root bound. Should i wait? Tulsa. Oklahoma 6A

Take your flat shovel and chop it right down the middle. Its a good way to get more plants and to break up a rootbound rootball.
