Why do tip of leaves turn brown on my philodendron.? It’s in a nice size terra cotta pot in a window...has grown quite a bit in the 6 plus years...but the tips of leaves have always turned brown! Any ideas?

Hi & welcome! Has the soil been changed in the time you've had it?

It is most likely to be a watering issue, allowing the soil to get too dry or keeping it too wet. But a photo and more information are necessary to give a more definitive explanation.
