My dog has been digging up this black fungi that’s white on the inside. He’s going nuts over the stuff! I’m not sure what it is and until I get a handle on it I don’t want him playing outside. Any ideas what this stuff could be? It’s dry and brittle. White on the inside. Almost looks like burnt dry poop.

I've never actually seen a truffle, but they use dogs to find them, so if your dog is going nuts over it... you may be sitting on a gold-mine. Big Grin
