I bought this rubber plant a couple days ago and i noticed it had these strange spots. its the only leaf like it and i think another has just one. is it a fungus or just something that will go away? should i cut the leaf?

It is not a fungus. It may be a burn spot where a water droplet was exposed to direct sun. In any case, it is not a cause for concern. The leaf can be left on the plant or you can remove it if it bothers you.
