plantladylin said: Hurray! I forgot about the "extra" acorns to be awarded! We don't get to see fall colors often so I only had 8 photos to share but I sure am appreciative of the acorns! And, thank you @Trish for this wonderful element of fun! I've really enjoyed all the beautiful photo additions to our database ... Great job everyone! Thumbs up

Ditto this!
Our fall colors, such as they are, tend to come when most everyone else is experiencing actual winter. Hilarious! But those of us in FL did manage to capture some fall color photos.

Thanks again Trish & Dave too.

Thank you, Trish and Dave, for the Fall Color thread. I had a lot of fun posting photos.

Thank also for the bonus acorns. I tip my hat to you.

Thanks y'all.
This was a fun contest.
I would have entered more pictures (key being more as opposed to good) if I'd realized that each would get an extra acorn.

Posted elsewhere how much fun I can have with acorns. I'm even thinking about changing my avatar.

I just sent you a tree mail.

That was so nice of you! And certainly preferable to being hit on the head with acorns by all the dang squirrels around here. I don't know how they do it, but some of them are very adept at throwing hardballs!

Many thanks!

This was a ton of fun. I had no photos to enter but it was so enjoyable to see everyone participate with such enthusiasm. When I order my garden planner, guess I will make a note to remind myself to take fall photos, winter interest photos, etc. Thumbs up

Hi All! Smiling Feeling better now after my nasty cold. (And thank you, @plantladylin for the Healing Group Hug. It all helps us feel better.)

I had more Fall Colour to add, so I won't wait for the next contest, next Fall. I put in a few more last night, after coming home from our Gardening Club Christmas party. It was that cup of coffee that kept me going till 4:00 am. While looking for my Winter pictures, I spotted these and popped them in:

It's been great fun! Thanks to all who put in such great Fall photos. Now - onto the Winter ones! I tip my hat to you.
