Any here savvy with posting photos? I took some photos today and all could be considered landscape. But I prefer one or two photo to show up as "Fall Colors", but there are more than one tree in the photo and I don't know what trees they are (I could research it, but don't care to do that).

I looked in the Plants Database, and I didn't even see a 'Miscellaneous' or 'Trees'. Did I miss them? I thought perhaps I could post the photos under 'Trees', 'Miscellaneous' and click the checkbox for fall color. ??

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Teresa

Hi Teresa,

There's a couple of options I can think of:

1) Work out the genus that the tree belongs to and add it to that entry (i.e. if you know it's an Oak tree but don't know the species, then you could add it to Oak (Quercus)).

2) Upload your photos to The bin of unidentified photos (Holding_space). This is where all photos of unidentified plants go. Images are still categorised by gallery (i.e. bloom, foliage, fall colour, etc.).
Plant Authorities: Catalogue of Life (Species) --- International Cultivar Registration Authorities (Cultivars) --- RHS Orchid Register --- RHS Lilium Register
