I purchased this plant at a produce market and employees could not provide any info.Would like identification and care instructions if possible.Thank you.

The genus is Tradescantia. I'm sure someone will know which one.

Could also be Callisia fragrans, they are in the same family.

Protect from frost and provide some direct light this winter, you should start to see a flower stalk forming on at least the oldest part in the middle in another month or 2.
