That depends on many things. How big was it when you got it? Is it from seed? What kind of light and water does it get?

Can you post a picture?

Where did the onions come from Philip? Confused

Your plants look dry so maybe water a little more. Have you fertilized? I guess we better know what they are planted in before recommending fertilizer. But if you do fertilize, mix at 1/4 the recommended strength.

Whatever kind of pepper you harvested your seeds from, be aware that the peppers your plants eventually grow may have no resemblance to the parent pepper.

If you water every day, and start giving a little bit of weak soluble fertilizer once your plants have at least 4 leaves, they should be about 4in. tall in a month. Depends upon the weather, too. Be sure to bring them indoors if we get any more nights below 50deg. IF they were outside when we had our first cold front last week, that may have set them back a lot. They slow down, and take a couple of weeks to get back up to growing speed. Keep them warm.

Yes, I'm in Florida too. 45 is way too low for peppers. They will certainly be pouting for a little while after getting that cold. We only got down to 49 here in Sarasota but even that felt pretty frigid.

Yeah! I'm always happy when I pass the Philip Approval Test.
