Live in Australia but that is irrelevant in this thread as the old man has a tree sprouted up from imported bird seed, and no one has a clue what it is or where it come from. He's even had horticulturalists to try and identify it to no avail. He says it dies off in summer and comes back in winter. Photo's taken here in spring.

Anyone know what this is? It's around 15 Year's old.

It looks like Solanum mauritianum......Its common names include earleaf nightshade(or "ear-leaved nightshade"), woolly nightshade, flannel weed, bugweed, tobacco weed, tobacco bush, wild tobacco and kerosene plant.

The fruits are round yellow berries.

It is considered a weed in parts of Australia.
