Photos taken December 25, 2014 at Ponce De Leon Inlet, Florida; growing in different areas of the dunes. I was thinking Golden Aster (Chrysopsis) of some type but I really have no clue.

Looks like camphorweed or one of the other heterotheca.

Not sure why so many different botanical names for the various golden asters....

There are similar appearing chrysopsis too.....

@Greene, it was growing all over the dune area, along with Bidens.

@stone Thank you, it is the native Camphor Weed (Heterotheca subaxillaris) and I even have photos in the database. *Blush* I had these pictures in my "Unidentified" folder on my laptop and yet I have other pictures in a labeled folder!

Sighing! I'm getting old.
