I'm looking to purchase one (or more) Illicium Verum (Chinese Star Anise) Plants.

Any leads for this plant appreciated. I live in the U.S.

I didn't find plants, but you could grow your own from seed.

I did a quick look. Amazon has them.

One place in Canada also sells them.

seeds are nonviable after3 days --- even knowing this, I have purchased many "fresh" seeds and they are all dried out / nonviable. I have searched amazon.com and ebay as well as nursery web sites in Florida, Hawaii, and the Caribbean. There are online posts from many years ago of people who grew them in Florida although no way of contacting those people. I'm willing to pay a finders fee on delivery of at least one live plant to whoever locates one for me.
