|There are two plants that can go by this name; one is in the database. Does anyone have a better name for this beauty?

|Furcraea foetida var. mediopicta seems to be the correct name.
Only Furcraea foetida is listed in the Plant List which I'm sure you have checked..
So what do we do about the three in the database?
The RHS only has two listed, the other Furcraea foetida
ITIS only lists Furcraea foetida ..
It appears Furcraea foetida 'Mediopicta' has been adapted from the var. for selling purposes.
I found a site using the correct name!
Another without the 'var.' but at least they used lower case for mediopicta ..
This site refers to it as a cultivar, not so?
This site call it both a cultivar and a variety ..
Furcraea foetida 'Variegata' is probably the same as var. mediopicta?
The American Public Gardens Association are the holders of Furcraea (Taxonomic group)
I can't find anything on their site, maybe you could contact them?

|I have submitted my picture as F. foetida var. mediopicta and suggested a correction to the common name.
Thanks for your help.
