Hello all, I've just moved into a new house and have just found this in my garden, I was wondering if anyone could identify it for me? I've not seen anything with those leaves before.

Is it a weed?

It is Corydalis lutea. I have heard it called a welcome vagrant. It seeds all over the yard but seedlings are easily pulled. I love it as a companion plant for my Hostas....

Hi Kano, Welcome!

I agree, it looks to be Yellow Corydalis (Pseudofumaria lutea) Here are two photos from the above link to the plant in our database:
