Plant ID forum: Trying to identify this tree

I live in Northern California and am trying to identify this tree. It has compound leaves and blooms large white lily type flowers in the summer time. In the winter all of the leaves fall off the tree but currently they are just starting to change to a yellow color and fall. It is a fairly tall tree. I have this little bush growing along my house that looks like a miniature version of the tree. Pictured you'll see the tree, it's bark, leaves, and the little bush that looks like it.

That tree reminds me of China Doll (Radermachera sinica) but we don't currently have photos of blooms in our database.

Images of blooms for comparison can be viewed on this page, did they perhaps look like any of these?

It does look like China Doll. Here is a pic from the web. Did the flowers look like this?
