GardenGoon7.
When helping to id plants it is often very helpful to know where the plant was found.
Was it in someones front garden or a wild flower?
Was it in a bog or half way up a mountain?
Where in the world it was growing?
etc etc etc.
Herbarium dried specimens are hard as you cannot see the flower colour.
It looks like Anaphalis sp.

But there are many other plants it might be.

Next time, photograph your plants in situ from several angles, the whole plant, the leaves, the flowers, any fruits. And then pluck and carry them home to press and dry.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost

Right it was growing wild in Rhoda Island. USA.
Not everyone on these forums ..me included.... knows their geography!

Try comparing your specimen to Anaphalis margaritacea.

I agree with Daisyl..good clear pics of a fresh plant is far more helpful.
