Great! Hi Curtis! Where did you get your beautiful semps? By the tag I'm guessing SMG succulents.

Welcome! Curtis! You have a great semp collection. They all look very happy! How are you growing them? Are they outdoors during the winter?

Thanks!
Yes,they are outdoors all winter under a piece of clear polycarbonate year round on a grow table.I put plastic around the table when they are basically dormant in winter.
They are planted in about 50/50 good potting soil and grade 4 perlite with some pumice on top.

Thanks,Patty.
They grow year round under a piece of clear polycarbonate I put on my grow table.
In winter I surround 3 sides of the table with plastic.
Some do not take the first freeze well('iceberg' comes to mind),but most do fine.

Another successful pot gardener, and by that I mean gardening in pots. When I saw all those blemish-free semps I figured they're likely spending their winter under some kind of cover. Excellent job.

I really like growing my semps in pots. It is just so handy and versatile.

If they aren't doing so good in a certain spot, it is real easy to move them.

If I need to work on them, I can put them up on a table and work on them without bending over or kneeling down, two things that become much difficult as I age.

But in Oregon, if you say you are a pot gardener, everybody pretty much assumes it is the big M.

The other day I went in a local thrift store and they asked me what I was looking for and I said I just wanted to check out their pot department. They told me they didn't sell that stuff. I told them they should, they would make a boat load of money that way. And then I went and checked out the pots!!

Thanks Smiling .I built it ,so I can easily take it apart and move it.Came in handy when I moved to the new house this Spring. It is only anchored in the 6" pvc pipes filled with sand,in the ground.
All stainless steel hardware.
Next time I rebuild it,I am definitely going to use stain.....or who knows, maybe this Spring after I pressure wash it.

Numbers do not scare me. When I moved out here, I brought over 100 rabbits with me. Now, that was a move.
