I have been growing these in a pot and got them to about six inches tall and now they are drying up and no amount of nurturing seems to help. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi,

Do you have them near a window with cold drafts or are they getting hit by a vent with hot air from your house heating system? How's the humidity where they are? Are the branches crispy dry or supple? If they are supple it just might be that they dropped their leaves and are trying to go dormant.

I grow these too and they seem to thrive in morning sun and dappled shade in the afternoon. I keep the soil on the dry side of moist as they aren't too fond of 'wet feet'. In Winter I cut them back and keep them in a heated greenhouse and a little bit dryer.

A picture would help too!

They are in my garage which never goes below 60F, under strong fluorescent grow lights. There is no life left as both the branches and leaves are dry. Water might be the problem as I have not made any effort to keep the dry,
Thanks

Sorry, but it does sound like you drown them. I got some seeds this year from these guys if you'd like to try again. Just send me a Treemail with your address. Just click on my name.
