Jan ~ Thank You! (My birthday was over a month ago!)

Leslie ~ Tell me your secret for resisting temptation! nodding I have already exceeded my quota for what will fit into the new beds to be dug! I am afraid I will have a large pot ghetto this year.

Pretty much. If you don't look then you don't buy more. It gets easier when you already spent a small fortune. And have two year potted iris already that deserve to be planted!

Since I can't allow myself to make new beds, I'm going to pot up new arrivals for the first time. It will give me time to re-do some beds that need work, getting rid of some to make room for different ones. Some Day Lilies are really huge clumps taking up more room then they need, and I can gain some space by reducing their size. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Rolling my eyes.

Tom ~ Go for it! Now that I have planted out all that there were in pots, I will be potting up the new ones that I receive from orders or trades before planting in beds.

Thankfully I have enough room in the fenced garden area to put in a few more beds. I still need to allow room for seedlings as well, if I am ever successful at crossing any irises. We'll see...
