Hi All,

About one week ago we had some cooler than usual weather and the pineapple plants had these white spots on them. They now look like they are burning. Any idea what is going on here? Thank you

It doesn't look like any disease or insect damage, Anthoney. We're going to have to assume it's just leaf damage from the cold weather. Nothing to be done about it except to move the plants somewhere more protected the next time a cold front is forecast. South side of a building is the best spot. Covered with some frost cloth, even better. Also make sure they are well watered before the cold air hits.

Don't know how cold it got where you are, but I'm 100mi. south of you and we got down into the low 40's for a couple of nights at least.

Hi Elaine, Thank you for your help. We had a few nights in the low 30's so makes sense. Thanks!
