I bought a house in October this year, and the person doing the "repairs" to make the house ready for FHA funding HACKED away at two Rose of Sharon shrubs.(to make them at least 6 inches away from the house) They were previously at least 6 feet tall and now they are 2-3 feet tall. Is there any hope or are they gonners?

Welcome!

They aren't goners, just shorter.
