Sir I have buy this lemon plant from nursery 4 months ago it give 4-5 fruits but now all its leaves fall off and i have planted it in sand and cowdung compost 1:1 ratio.and when it did not grow i pour more cowdung compost on its surface pls suggest desease and cure.and now its winter here temp. is 10-20 degree. thanks in advance.

I think you have two problems, the first is cowdung. That is way to much fertilizer - I think you may have killed your tree. What happened to the main tree trunk? If this was a graphed plant, I'm afraid the only thing you have left are sprouts off the root stalk.

I m sure its not killed it is sprouting but growth is very slow. you are right i have covered 6-7 inch stalk with cowdung and sand.i have planted many plants in cowdung directly and they are doing good .

When and why did you replant it? Please describe the light it has received. What is your watering routine?

i have put it in full sunlight and i water it in 7-10 days

How long has it been in direct sun? Since you got it 4 months ago or just recently? How dry does the soil get before you water?
