Sorry to hear about your husband's new problems, but I think the news of a hernia was not so bad compared to what it might have been. Consider this a Christmas card with best wishes and hoping for a speedy recovery on both operations!

Thank Larry, it's been a rough time since late Sept. It seems like everything happens healthwise at the end of each month. R is scheduled for surgery on January 5 (next Friday) to repair this second hernia.
