I am missing the great descriptions on Adelmans website. I'm clicking on more info, only to find no more info.
In other news, order Carol's book from Carol and you will have a signed peony book. I like that. Thumbs up

Yeah, many are already sold out at Solaris under each category. Surprising. Its just been a few hours? Was it the same in the previous years?

It was. Last year I was online when it went live and had items in my cart sold out before I checked out less than 5 minutes from going live. Didn't put in an order with Solaris yet this year but FINALLY got SonomaYeDo from Adelman's!!!! Also picked up Brocaded Gown, Princess Chiffon and Judy Becker.

Drat Drat. I just ordered three from Solaris. A woody shrub, Zi Mei Cha (whose stems have survived -30 in Solaris' gardens), and two herbaceous: Nosegay and Le Cygne. Have loved Nosegay despite killing it off. Le Cygne has historical signifigance. Heaven knows where I am going to put them. Added to others I ordered. Time to dig up more lawn I guess. I have one spot in the back left open by a crabapple and a weeping larch border it. Also a well developed hydrangea bush. might get two or three in there. Shrug!

I thought Solaris was less crazy than last year. Last year it was like a top rated concert on TicketMaster. Bogged down, slow only to have many sold out. Nate deserves the attention though. We are competing with overseas orders too, don't forget.
I bought a couple older ones, a Seidl and a Klehm tree peony. I'm happy. Nothing that was going to break the bank or leave me heart broken at "sold out".
Congrats to those placing orders. A sign of spring...ordering season Hilarious!

Solaris is really a successful business. There must be some nurseries and dealers ordering from them as well.

Congrats Liz on getting Sonoma Yedo. That is quite a bit more expensive from Adelmans, right? Hope you will get a larger division with more buds this fall.

It was more than Solaris but less than the overseas sellers who offered it last year. If it's as nice as Adelman's Itoh roots were last year I'll be very satisfied. YeDo was one that was in my cart at Solaris last year but was sold out before I could check out. I hit checkout less than 5 minutes after they opened, don't know if there were just a few available or if I was competing against a few people ordering multiples of just that peony but it was gone crazy fast. Nate does have some gorgeous plans, I'll probably put in an order when we get home tomorrow but nothing near last year. My Solaris order was easily double that of any other I made last year, probably won't get more that 3 or 4 trees this.
