Are nasturtiums and geraniums related? I am intolerant to geraniums and want to plant nasturtiums

No they aren't. Nasturtiums are in the plant family of Tropaeolaceae and Geraniums, Geraniaceae.

Easy to rip out if you get tired of them ! Of course, that's a big IF ?

Plant lots. Flowers are edible. YES !
Decorate top of salads, or anything with petals. They have just a little peppery taste. Impress your guests. They'll all say : What's this ? 👍😀

I believe leafs are edible also.

I have some growing right now.

Gee ?🤔??? I don't know why I haven't grown any in the past few years ???

There perennial in some places.
