Happy New Year Everyone!!
We got some more of the white stuff, again, last night, so I can't show you what color Gold Nugget is here--sadly though, it wasn't out-shinning the darks the last I saw it. Cheese Duet was looking pretty good though Smiling

Yes, Happy New Year everyone.

'Cheese Time' is doing well with all the rain, so far. Color right now is not eye catching, but I look for that to change in a month or two.

BlueOddish said:So while roaming the the endless reaches of the internet looking for information on a cultivar listed on Sempervivum-liste as 'Ayatubaki' I found a whole bunch of Japanese cultivars I'd never seen before. I took a screenshot of a Japanese Succulent Encyclopedia thing and I've pasted a link to a website.

BTW, I think 'Ayatubaki' is supposed to be spelled 'Ayatsubaki'.

And, it IS spelled 'Ayatsubaki'. Apparenty the katakana says 'Ayatsubaki'

Good morning Alex. At this time we shouldn't add this to the database. There is no information on who the breeder is, or date of introduction.

Ok. I also started a thread for the japanese hybrids/cultivars, perhaps someo f the other ones might have enough info, though i doubt it.

Thank you Alex. That might be a helpful way to keep track of what is going on with the Japanese semps. Thumbs up
