It's a hybrid, but it doesn't warrant a listing as a hybrid taxon (Philodendron x evansii) because it's a "man-made hybrid" -- i.e., a cultivar.

Yes, this is the way we display horticultural hybrids as Zuzu noted. We enter the hybrid name in the also sold as field. Here's a good article about this plant: http://keyapa.com/pahatan/renc...

One of the aspects not discussed in the article is this cross usually doesn't produce results similar to Evansii.
