I was on vacation for a week and when I got back my plant broke! It was ether the cold, my cat or the top got to heavy. I bought it a year ago and I was really proud of it. But I never knew what it was and my local flower store doesn't know ether. I need to know the name so I can get to treat it and get roots(or buy a new one). It's the plant in the middle, I was going to move it but didn't want to kill the sprout.

It's hard for my old eyes to tell but I wonder if it might be Lucky Bamboo (Dracaena sanderiana)

I thought it was an orchid, went back and looked at the top, and had to rethink that. D'Oh! Confused

It might be a dracaena, they mentioned something like that. But it's so small. It started in a very small plastic pot and it's hight was as tall as my 🖐️. And as Farr as I can tell now it has only grown taller and not wider. But i can notice it growing quickly. Oh, and how it is now ist more as a herbal stem. And sprouting another one on it close to the dirt.

Maybe Tradescantia with not enough light?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming...."WOW What a Ride!!" -Mark Frost

It does make sense, I can try to get roots on the broken part. But So far I just put it in a vase with water.

it might also be more of a hanging plant but it did grow upwords twords the light. I propped it up after noticing it was hanging but still going for the light, and made the conclusion that it was trying to stand but it was to heavy.

But in the beginning I had it in the bathroom and so it might be true that it didn't get enough light.
