I recently got these two succulents, but there was no label on them.
What are they? I fell in love with them and they seem to be relatives of a sort?

They both remind me of Rhipsalis.

#1 reminds me of Dancing Bones Cactus (Hatiora salicornioides)

#2 ? maybe Rhipsalis (Rhipsalis pilocarpa) or possibly Rhipsalis teres

I think you are right, but that they are both Rhipsalis @plantladylin! Look what I found:
Rhipsalis cereuscula? The first one? Thank You!

It could be Coral Cactus (Rhipsalis cereuscula) I've grown a few Rhipsalis over the years but I can never remember which is which with some of them. Green Grin!

They all look the same to me. Smiling I don't think the species name much affects the care, though.

Fun fact about Rhipsalis: this is the only genus of cactus known to occur outside the Americas (from which it originates). According to Wikipedia the mistletoe cactus is the only species of cactus that naturally occurs in Africa. Presumably migratory birds have something to do with that. Smiling

I love that everyone gets to see it while it is starting to bloom. I can count on the blooms at this time every year.

I have been torturing a dancing bones for several years now. It has very weak growth and some of it shrivels and dies off. Any tips???

They can be difficult buggers. Remember even though its a cactus it is also an epiphyte. I water weekly and keep it pot bound. I believe mine is in west facing window. Also quick draining potting media, but I don't use a succulent mix.
