I agree
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Come and listen to my story about a man named Jed
A poor mountaineer, barely kept his family fed,
And then one day he was shootin at some food,
And up through the ground come a bubblin crude.

Oil that is, black gold, Texas tea.

Well the first thing you know ol Jed's a millionaire,
The kinfolk said "Jed move away from there"
Said "Californy is the place you ought to be"
So they loaded up the truck and they moved to Beverly

Hills, that is. Swimmin pools, movie stars.

Funny Greg, but being from the UK they might not get it!
"The Universe speaks in many languages, but only one voice. It speaks in the language of hope; It speaks in the language of trust; It speaks in the language of strength, and the language of compassion. It is the language of the heart and the language of the soul. But always, it is the same voice. It is the voice of our ancestors, speaking through us, And the voice of our inheritors, waiting to be born. It is the small, still voice that says: We are one. No matter the blood; No matter the skin; No matter the world; No matter the star; We are one. No matter the pain; No matter the darkness; No matter the loss; No matter the fear; We are one. Here, gathered together in common cause. we agree to recognize this singular truth, and this singular rule: That we must be kind to one another, because each voice enriches us and ennobles us, and each voice lost diminishes us. We are the voice of the Universe, the soul of creation, the fire that will light the way to a better future. We are one."

Seriously...I started contemplating the situation and wonder: er62 do you grease the bearings on your lawn equipment? Sometimes grease drops from over filled bearing joints as you mow. Occasionally we notice that happens when we mow. If I see the grease seeping from a bearing joint, I will wipe the excess away, otherwise I will find random grease on the lawn.

Thank you for all the suggestions.....and the song??? I guess. Even though you are right, I have no idea what you are talking about Hilarious!

It is definitely not grease from the mower or oil...even if I did stay up all night digging a hole to see if I was an owner of a garden full of 'Texas tea'.

I have since been told it is probably dog lichen for anybody that is interested.

Thanks again

Lol .. glad we could help. The song is from an old situation comedy called the Beverly Hillbillies.
