Hi 56 ~ Lo 48 for today. The next few days, low 60's, then rain is forecasted for Tuesday.

Maybe it will be dry enough on Monday to do a bit of weeding. We'll see. Crossing Fingers!

We're back into a cold spell. No snow on the ground, but 2 - 3 inches predicted later in the week. I will be glad to have a snow cover again, I think it keeps the iris at a steadier temperature not this up and down stuff.

The rain system that started in Cali got here on Thursday evening. Sent the temps up to 70 but poured rain on Friday. Cleared out this morning but now the temps are falling fast. The bright sunshine deceives you into thinking it is much warmer, but the breeze tells you otherwise.

Today ~ Hi 65° `~ Lo 50° sunny and partly cloudy, rain on Tuesday.

It is still quite muddy. If the sun shines for most of the day, then maybe the mud will be a little drier.

I am hoping to do a little weeding. When it is too wet, it can be really too messy.

Sunny here today, and a bit warmer. (Alas, I've got things to do which are keeping me out of the garden.)

We lost our snow overnight, but I would rather have it as the temperature drops.

We have not yet had any snow at all, but winter isn't over yet. Last year it started on November 20th. Still, I am not completely disappointed, as I may have more chances to weed in between storms. There are a lot of new weeds where I already weeded. I feel like the cat trying to catch her tail! Sighing!

A touch of frost here and still windy, so feels much colder. Only slightly muddy in the garden now that the top layer of the soil is frozen, but still very wet underneath. Cuddles had muddy paws after our dog-rugby match earlier.

Today the weather is supposed to be a high of 65° and partly cloudy here. We are having company so I may not get any garden time today.

It was very foggy early this morning. Warp went out to greet the hydrologist and my garden helpers (doing repair on various things) and came back in wet. It is still overcast now, even though we are supposed to get some sun "later in the day". (I doubt it.) Rain not predicted here until Tuesday.

The house feels cold to me (DH says not); high forecast temp is supposedly 68, but I haven't been out yet.

It never did get to 65°, but it was 60°. I am not complaining about the weather even if it was cloudy.
I did a little bit of weeding and digging, even though it was a bit muddy. I couldn't stay out there since we have company today.
