Hi all!

I just got this plant 3 weeks ago, it used to be all green but it started browning at the top almost immediately after I got it. I don't know what it's called. Please help!

Many thanks!

Hello and welcome! That is a Goldcrest or Lemon cypress tree. It is very hard to keep one indoors in my opinion. Most of them that are sold over the holidays die out when they are kept inside. I'd suggest you move it outside if you have a garden. It likes to be in the sun, but protected from winds and will not tolerate frost. Needs extremely good drainage. Cannot tolerate heat and like a cooler environment, unfortunately most houses' temperatures are above what a cypress loves. Good luck with your plant!
In some Native languages the term for plants translates to "those who take care of us."
