Any good ideas for this enormous plant? Do they make good hanging baskets? Otherwise it's getting puy in the trash

Your lovely plant is a variety of Arrowhead Plant (Syngonium podophyllum) It's in the same family as Philodendron and yes, they do very well in hanging baskets!

It's considered a pest plant here in Florida where it will take over, trailing and climbing over other plants and up into the trees!

As Lin wrote, it can certainly be used as a hanging plant. However, it will need constant pruning to keep it from becoming unruly and stringy.

Craigslist is a great way to make unwanted things disappear, if you have it where you live.

Put nearly anything in the "free" category, say first come first served and it's at the curb, and poof!

As I seem glutton for punishment, I'm going to try at least one hanging basket. With it this size, I don't think I'll hurt it.
