Hi!
I'm trying to identify this vine, it grew from a small red leaf cutting I found. It is hairy (especially on older parts), the new growth is green and slowly turns redder as it gets older. The leaves are long and thin and growth seems to sprout off from each leaf. It has not ever flowered or beared fruit to my knowledge in my home.

Welcome!

Its a Tradescantia

Hi!

It does look similar with the leaves I agree, but Tradescantia seems too "bushy". This is most definitely some sort of vine.

Nevermind, we think it's Tradescantia Paladii and has just never had chance to flower properly!

Thank You!

Agree, (spelled pallida):
Purple Queen (Tradescantia pallida)

More sun = more purple, more blooms.

Looks like that has been going great already! Experimenting with using some outside this summer could be fun too, if that lines up with your idea of plant-fun.
