For Christmas vacation, which lasts a month, I asked my botany professor if we he would mind taking care of my plants along with his plants in the greenhouse. This is what my D. spatulata looked like beforehand:

When I returned after a month, I was shocked to see this is what it looked like:

Is there any way I can save it?!?! I don't think he took good care of my plants honestly, I returned and my carnivorous plant water tray was bone dry and so was their soil. Yet my D. aliciae that is also in that tray along with the D. spatulata is doing wonderful and is even blooming. Please help!!!

Well that's just sad. Sad

I don't think its dead - but D. spatulata is much more sensitive to water (lack of). Keep it well hydrated, maybe even put it under a humidity dome.

D. aliciae is always a very forgiving happy little plant.

Put it in bright light and keep it in a shallow tray of rain water or distilled water. And wait. Hopefully it will be o.k. NEVER let the tray run dry!
