I used to live in Asia and it's very popular to eat young pumpkin shoots.
The only issue is it's my first time growing pumpkins and I know that there are primary vine, secondary then tertiary vines.

My question is, if anyone here eat shoots, from which vines do we cut?

Logically thinking I would not cut primary vines wouldn't I because need to get it to grow long hence get more chance for flower stalk

Please let me know if anyone knows how to thank you

You are right. it is the more tender side shoots that run along the main vine. You still may have to remove the strings and scrub off some of the fuzz before stir frying.
