Hi there

So my yucca died last year and i managed to save two heads (see photos) that started to make white new roots. I decided to put the beads in a pot with soil and against the window. Was there any step i missed? I am new to plants.

Also i am posting a photo of the dead yucca (the trunk basically) thats sitting in the storage room hoping to bring something back to life in the summer. Is there any hope or should i just throw it in the garbage? It's very dry .. even the roots 😞

Thank you all for your help ❤️

You can move the rooted cutting into a small 2 or 3-inch pot filled with a very porous potting mix.

Can't tell from the photos if there is any life left in the canes. You could try putting it into a small pot and dampen the soil to see if any new growth emerges. Unlikely, however. If the bark on the canes is loose, then they are dead.
