Where do i cut the stem to have my orchid bloom again? Am i going to lose the circular shape it has?
Also, the leaves stopped growing... they are looking fine though but they do not grow anymore. I water it with ice cubes about once a week.
I am attaching a photo.
Please let me know if you have any idea of what i could do to help my orchid bloom again.. thanks!

|You are way too late to get a secondary spike and blooms on your Phalaenopsis. The key is to cut the flower spike as soon as the last flower has faded and while the spike is still green. It should be cut just above where the lowest flower was attached. But it is too late for yours, so cut off the spike entirely.
Using ice cubes to water is not a good idea. About once every 7-10 days, take it to the sink and let warm water run through the potting medium. After the excess water has finished dripping, move it to a moderately sunny windowsill that is also warm. Fertilize monthly at half strength. Be patient because it typically puts out only one or two new leaves each year and at best will bloom only once per year.
