Thread OP

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy Pastelegance. I have found 3 sources for Pastelegance:

Solaris
Adelman
Hollingsworth.

The price is $200 (Adelman is selling it for $199).

Does anybody have thoughts on which vendor is the best source? Thanks.

I bought it last year from Adelman's because it was the cheapest option. And I love roots from Adelman's though roots from Solaris and Hollingsworth are of the same quality. Probably it does not matter.

I also ordered it from Adelman's in 2017.

Here is the root I received. I was very pleased.

I also bought Pastelegance from Adelman this past fall. If I get any blooms, I will let you know. I like to buy roots that will give me at least one or two blooms the following spring.

I think you can't go wrong with this choice. Another gardener who bought Pastelegance from Adelman was very happy with her plant. It bloomed the first spring after it was planted eventhough she split it into two plants. Both roots produced blooms the following spring.
