Got a beautiful pilea plant a week ago and I'm not sure if it's doing okay. I was never provided info on how to take care of this type of plant, or exactly what my plant is called.

But since it looks so much like baby tears I assumed it liked high humidity so I've been misting it 1-2 times a day, I put in indirect sunlight like with most tropicals. It looks okay right now overall but I notice a bit of browning of leaves or leaves falling off every now and then. Any tips on how to better take care of this plant?

It looks great! Don't make any drastic changes. Just so you know, it will do fine in low humidity as long as it is watered properly, which you seem to be doing. It will tend to grow ever-longer stems that may become leggy over time. Don't hesitate to prune back stems to keep it full, and compact.

Hurray!

WOW. I have two of these that are barely larger than the day I got them a year ago. I have to learn to water tiny potted succulents more than I do. You have done fantastic. The plant is beautiful. If anyone should be giving tips on this one, it should probably be you, @lilyhxk

@lauriebasler you're very kind haha, but I think it's just been luck! Big Grin
