@joannakat asked me to put instructions for the peanut butter feeder my husband made me in this forum. I created a google doc for it. Please let me know if you cannot follow the link.

Very cool, the link opened fine. That is such a clever way to do it. Thank you. Acorn Thumbs up Acorn
Be content moving inch by inch because, by days end, the inches, will add up to feet and yards.

Fulfilling ambitious objectives is usually done one step at a time.

This is a very good idea. I especially like using the pill bottles. Thumbs up
I sent you three acorns, one for you, one for Dave and one for all the happy birds. Hilarious! Hilarious!

Thank You! so much for the acorns @plantladylin , @greene , @pod !
@pod Glad you could open it. First time I've shared a google doc.
@Frenchy21 yes we do have squirrels. I am home most of the time and shoo them away from the feeders. We take them in at night so the raccoons don't get the peanut butter.
@greene The pill bottles may get pushed around and may need glued in since they are slightly tapered. We are watching them.

Becky, thank you so much! This is outstanding and your doc, which opened with ease, is so well written. Not only did you provide instructions, but the background so that creative people won't make the same mistakes you made when starting out. Kudos, and again, Thank You! !

Thank You! @joannakat for the acorns! Glad you like the doc. It took awhile to write since I had to keep asking "how did you do this? what tools did you use." He finally took me to the workshop with camera.

I'm interested in the alpha version - holes in a branch. Did you provide perching or just let the birds grab the wood? I figure once it gets gunky, toss and start anew (?)

@Bonehead The holes in the alpha version have the perches going through them at a 90 degree angle. You wouldn't have to put perches in that one at all, but the PVC is slick and there would be nothing for the birds to grab except the edge of the holes themselves.
