Husband's efforts to rid lawn of weeds left large bare patches. Lawn appears to be bermuda or zoysia in one area and a slow growing grass like centipede near the driveway and sidewalk. After seeding bermuda for a season I've hired a company to put down pre-emergent due to the neighbors' weeds. I intend to plug the remaining bare spots. I'm wondering if I should choose bermuda, zoysia or centipede.

I think it is a matter of personal taste; they are quite different. Zoysia might be the best weed barrier.
