Yes, Dichondra.

Well, hello!! Shrug!
I have no clue what it is but if Dichondra recurvata is the correct identification, please note that we have zero images of that plant in the NGA database.

It is Dichondra, and was once thought to be a good lawn substitute here in So. Cal., but it is to thirsty, and not dense enough to choke out the weeds. Now it is considered a weed by most.

Shame to know it's very water thirsty, as I'm I'm love with how it feels and it seems rather hardy. I was hoping it would be somewhat drought resistant.

Dichondra was used as filler in grass seed mixes back in the 1950's. My Mom and Aunt tried for years to grow Dichondra lawns (they pulled all the rest) and never succeeded. This was in Sacramento, CA. Back then, most considered Dichondra the "weed in the lawn" but not my family - always the outliars. Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Lived in SoCal 73-78, Dicondra was the go too lawn in Orange Co, in the end it was the it required too much water. Beautiful looking and soft
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

There are some pics of another species to compare:
Pony's Foot (Dichondra carolinensis)

The basic anatomy should be similar between various species but I did not investigate to see which species are known to be present in your area, just taking a quick break while @ work. BONAP is always my go-to for that.
