Do you think it is a Euphorbia pulcherrima?

Here in the US we mostly see the 'florist' type of Euphorbia. The plant pictured is unlike most of the "normal" Poinsettias. I've searched and cannot find another similar to the plant in question. Shrug!

It is a hybrid variety of Euphorbia pulcherrima, commonly called Poinsettia. If you do a Google Image search for Poinsettia varieties, you will see how varied they are. The one here is unusual because the lower green leaves have fallen off the stems with only the red remaining. That is more about care than genetics.

Let's call it Euphorbia pulcherrima x Chennupati !

I love how unusual this one is! When we lived in the Marshall Islands they had a native poinsettia that grew there. It was very different. It has small leaves and very small flowers that looked like miniatures of the normal poinsettias we see in the United States. It grew well in the coral sand.
