Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Wings of Chance')

Wings of Chance was my very first "other than Stella d' Oro" daylily and I fell in love with it. It is one of my earlier bloomers and even after being split, moved, split again, it never fails me. It is a shorter daylily, but I always think it's smiling at me with it's bright yellow face and red halo.

New to me from a generous member here at Garden.org and planted in fall 2017. I can't wait to see it bloom this coming season. Surprisingly, even though we had a week of nights in the teens with a snow event (unusual for this area), the evergreen leaves are still green. I thought they'd be toast by now. I'll be sure to post photos of this cheery looking plant when it blooms this spring. Thanks again, donor.
