On Thursday, weather was sunny and in the 60's after last week of low 30's and 20's. Looking at the daylily bed and noticed how healthy the spiderworts are...green and no freeze damage; except they are not suppose to be there. OK, so a few spiderworts came with the daylilies when they were transplanted and they have great multiplied (which I knew would happen and should have pulled them out).

Since it was such a beautiful day, got my shovel and dug clumps of them out trying not to disturb the daylilies; but as I dug and dumped them into the trash, to my horror, I couldn't find 'Chinese Scholar', 'Sweet Home Alabama', nor 'Christmas Tidings' just their tags. I gently dug but found no sign of them. Crying Crying Crying

I'm very unhappy now... Sad Sighing!
