I bought this plant at a sale. It had been raised outdoors and i have it inside. The stem is limp and the leaves are rotting from the ends up. I live in Ga.

If you could get a better picture it might be easier to accurately identify, but I'll take a wild guess and say Gynura aurantiaca.

LOL, I would have never guessed Gynura but the leaf shape does look like Purple Velvet Plant (Gynura aurantiaca 'Purple Passion') Long stems may be due to it reaching for light.

is it succulent? I'm thinking of Kalanchoe, like K daigremontiana.... (wild guess though, due to unclear images)

@tofitropic Hopefully Trilla will be along soon to give us additional information and possibly a clearer photo.

The leaves do also have the shape of some Kalanchoe's but I can't tell from the photos whether the leaves and stem are succulent or not.

I believe it is a kalanchoe. I have since repotted it. It was really soggy and wet at the bottom. I dont know what to do about the stem being broken in half. How can i save or root the broken half. Its almost a foot long.

Sounds like a rescue! You can put any piece of this plant on the soil surface and it will grow. You can stick stem cuttings down into the soil. When a stem is cut, the stump usually starts making a new branch at every node. Removed leaves will make babies all around the edges. Whatever sounds like fun to you should work well. Soon you'll have thousands too. :+)

I think there are pics of all of these things here:
Mother of Thousands (Kalanchoe 'Houghtonii')

The more light, the faster it will grow.
